Wildlife Encounters

2014 is our 10th year of delivering Wildlife Encounters educational programming in New England!!!

We believe that public education, and the resulting change in human and societal behaviors and practices, are key to the objective of living environmentally and personally responsible lives that will help conserve and protect global biodiversity. Originally established in 2004, Wildlife Encounters delivers our extremely popular environmental education and community outreach programs. Our philosophy, morality, conduct and message all focus on communicating the interdependent relationship between our three core mission components: Animals, People and Earth.

Our skilled educators, unique messaging, and an unmatched variety of animals highlight our programs and classes, which feature a wide variety of wildlife which came to us as injured and rehabilitated animals, as well as confiscated illegal wildlife and pets, deemed not releasable.

Wildlife Encounters experiences are fun, interactive and experiential presentations designed around a 1-hr time frame featuring the presentation of 7 species. Most presentations will showcase biodiversity, featuring invertebrates, mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Subject matter is always tuned to the audience make-up, and questions are welcomed. Not only have our Ambassador Animals reached hundreds-of-thousands of New England children, visitors and residents, they have also been seen nationally on such programs as The Today Show, The Martha Stewart Show, LIVE with Kelly & Michael, CNBC Squawk Box, Night Line and New York Live.
