"Happy Trails" Mix

Ready to head out on the trail, with or without a horse? Trail mix is the perfect take-along snack! It's full of complex carbohydrates so you can eat something substantial without slowing down.

But don't just settle for standard store-bought mix! Here are two delicious make-at-home trail mixes that everyone will love. The best thing about making your own trail mix? You can't mess it up! There's no complex measuring here, just add things you like. If you're a peanut lover, add more. If you're keen on berries, throw in an extra handful. It's completely fool-proof! Just mix and store in an airtight container. We made some cute "Feed" bags to hold our zip-sealed snack bag for a day out on the horse trails!
