The Meredith Children's Museum facility is located in the historic retired elementary school in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The Museum is approx. 8,000 sq. feet. The Museum offers an educational, safe, and fun environment for children and their families.

Each room of the Museum has a different theme with exhibits to discover imaginative play. Everyone is encouraged to play! The Children's Museum is all hands-on exhibits.

IN THE BUBBLE ROOM....
a BUBBLE TABLE where you can make giant sized bubbles
a BUBBLE TIRE where you can discover what it feels like to be INSIDE A BUBBLE
a SILHOUETTE WALL where you can have fun tracing each others silhouette
the WHERE IN THE WORLD exhibit tests your knowledge of geographical locations on the world map

IN THE MAKE BELIEVE ROOM...
a FIRE TRUCK
a POLICE CAR
a BLOWER BALL where you can discover how a motion of force air keeps an object suspended
a CASTLE with a slide and a tunnel
a PUPPET THEATRE to create your own puppet show

IN THE LOG CABIN ROOM...
a REPLICA LOG CABIN where you can build your own structures using Lincoln Logs
a ROLLING BALL exhibit challenges you to move panels to create various paths
a GROCERY STORE is stocked and ready for you
a WALL DIORAMA with CARS and TRUCKS
a LOOPS exhibit
a MAGNET BOARD
a LOCKS exhibit
a FULL SIZE PIANO

IN THE BALL ROOM...
an ARCHIMEDES SCREW and a BICYCLE CHAIN CRANK lifts balls to roll around 150 feet of track
a GIANT PENDULUM is suspended from the ceiling where you can create spiraled designs on the floor
