9/13 Wildlife Encounters show at 11:30 am for the Lebanon Festival at Hanson Elementary School. Lebanon, ME!
The Lebanon Festival will be held Saturday, September 13th, rain or shine.
The Lebanon Rescue Department will hold our annual Community Festival with free admission and lots of great events for the entire family. Come see lots of emergency vehicles including ambulances, command trucks, police cars, fire trucks, police dog, state fire marshal, game wardens, EMA, town departments like the recreation department. There will be fun games and events for the kids. There will be monster trucks and heavy construction equipment on display for kids to tour. Hopefully Lifeflight Helicopter will be able to land also. We are also hoping for a fly-in by some skydivers from Sky Dive New England!! We will also have festival games and a bouncy house for the kids! This is open to the general public and each year families from all over Maine and New Hampshire attend!
The Rescue Dept will kick everything off at 8:30 with breakfast--come to the Hanson School soccer field to support them while you wait for the parade to come through.
The car show begins at 9:00 in the parking lot at the Hanson School soccer field
The parade will start from the old Town Hall on Center Rd at 9:00. (Anyone involved in the parade, please meet at the old town hall around 8/8:30 to get lined up).
After the parade, join us for a fun-filled day with lots of things to see and do from 9-5. Some new events this year also includes a free Mad-Science of Maine show for all the kids, this is an amazing show!
There will be a fundraising BBQ for anyone who is hungry to help pay for the event. Hamburger and hot dog meals will be sold.
Admission is free, but we are encouraging people to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Lebanon Food Pantry.
All this and its FREE!!! Festival day is right around the corner!! Get ready for some fun!
