NH Kidventures Highlighted Location: Clark House Museum
Tea Time Etiquette
August 23 (Sat. 2-4pm)
If you enjoy relaxing with friends and love tea parties, this is the program for you! This is an interactive program where you will first meet “Sarah Clark” in our parlor to learn the traditions and tales of tea through the ages. You will learn the names of different kinds of teas and the many tools necessary for a proper teatime with your friends. You will be able to both sample and take a bag of tea home with you.
You will move to the schoolhouse to practice what you have learned, as your group prepares your own tables for the tea. Choose your china, table decorations and sandwiches. Then you will sit down to be treated to tea and music by Mike Welch and our costumed guides for a lovely afternoon of tea and conversation. Those wearing a tea hat will also receive a little surprise!
Special Event Price: $8.50 (Limit 16 people)
