Spring is around the corner! That means it is time for the American Legion Auxiliary's Spring Fling Craft Fair!
This is a public indoor fair held rain or shine, featuring many hand-made items to satisfy your gift giving needs. Farm products such as maple syrup, jams, jellies, cheese, salsa, dips, plants are welcome. Plenty of free parking is available near the building. Breakfast and lunch will be served at reasonable prices. The ever-popular raffle table will once again feature items donated by the crafters. Auxiliary-made craft items will also be available for purchase.
The American Legion Auxiliary is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to help the needs of veterans including soldiers currently serving, their families, and the community. The Auxiliary's motto is "Service not Self". The Legion Auxiliary has a 95 year history of dedication to helping Veterans/Troops and their families. The public's attendance to our events, not only encourages the individual crafters by acknowledging the fine hand-made items they create, but also helps to support the many Auxiliary programs that help veterans in the community and in harms way. Some of the activities that the proceeds of this fair will support are: coupon clipping for military commissaries, donations for shipment of care packages for the troops through MooreMart, donations to Liberty House, NH Veterans Home Resident Benefit Fund, Life Ministries Food Pantry, Benson Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Wright Museum Festival of Trees, sponsoring a candidate to attend Girls State, visitations to Veterans in hospitals and nursing homes to name a few.
